Welcome to Tale of Life, operated by White Swan OÜ (“we,” “us,” “our”), based in Estonia. By creating an account or using talesof.life (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

  1. What Tale of Life is

Tale of Life is a platform for writing and sharing your personal life story, organized into reflective sections such as Early Age, Family, Work Life, and Personal Growth. It is intended for genuine personal storytelling, not commercial promotion, spam, or impersonation.

  1. Who can use Tale of Life

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that the account belongs to you.

  1. Your content

You own the content you write and share on Tale of Life. By posting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service — showing your profile to the audience you choose, for example. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for what you write. Please do not post content that:

  • Is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights
  • Impersonates another person
  • Contains spam, advertising, or malicious links
  • Violates the privacy of others (for example, sharing someone else’s sensitive personal information without their consent)

4. Visibility and privacy controls

You control who can see each part of your story — publicly, to friends only, or privately. It’s your responsibility to review these settings and choose visibility that matches your comfort level. We are not responsible for content you choose to make public.

  1. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. When you do, your profile content and personal data will be permanently removed, except where retention is required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including spam accounts, abusive behavior, or content that harms other users.

  1. Availability and changes to the Service

Tale of Life is under active development. Features, sections, and design may change over time as the platform grows. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service.

  1. Limitation of liability

Tale of Life is provided “as is.” While we take reasonable steps to protect your data and keep the Service running smoothly, we cannot guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

  1. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Tale of Life evolves — for example, as new features or integrations are added. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
